Oscar nominations were announced today. Nominations include Heath Ledger for his role in the Dark Knight. Heath Ledger died exactly a year ago today on January 22, 2008.
I recently saw Slumdog Millionaire. I went in without knowing anything about the movie and love every minute of it. Clever and touching story with some phenomenal acting. Get out and see it if you can!

We’ve been hit with a heat wave in San Francisco and it was a glorious weekend here. I spent the weekend in Sonoma with some friends and it reminded me of a video that was uploaded to Jumpcut, very early on, when Jumpcut was first launched. It’s a beautiful video which proves that videos don’t have to have any plot or storyline to it. It can just be about the moment. If you haven’t seen it yet, enjoy.

We’ve brought in the new year and we’re almost a week into 2009. Personally, i’m not all that into new years resolutions but I do like the idea of getting rid of bad memories from the last year like they do in Times Square in NY. What memories will you shred and move on from in 2009?
