Yahoo! Video is proud to announce that we’ll be carrying President-elect Barack Obama’s weekly video addresses to the nation. Obama rocked the Internet for fundraising, outreach, and organizing, so it’s no surprise that he’s using it to communicate to the people now that he’s been elected. Many people are comparing these videos to FDR’s fireside chats.

I think it says a lot about President elect Barack Obama that he wants to keep in touch with the American people. This is a wonderful venue for him to reach out and touch. I also like it that he invites comments and suggestions. I believe he will be the President that this country needs.
