In case you’re keeping track, Katy Perry is releasing her third single this week. I’ll admit that I have a big of a crush on her, but I’d never date her—not that she’s asked. She sends mixed messages. How so? Let’s look:

Her first single was Ur So Gay. Then she released the wildly popular pop-confessional I Kissed a Girl. So, it was a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Now she releases the confoundingHot ‘N Cold, in which she accuses her man of, well, being hot-and-cold (as well as ‘yes and no’, ‘up and down,’ and ‘wrong when right’). It’s like, woah, Katy, you’re the one telling boys that they’re gay and then kissing girls with your cherry ChapStick. Who’s inconsistent now? Maybe you’re the one that changes ‘your mind, like a girl changes her clothes.’ Ever think about that?
