New Networks: Next New Networks
I’m very pleased to announce three new networks on Yahoo! Video: Ultra Kawaii, Channel Frederator, and Barely Political. The shows in these networks are produced by our good friends Next New Networks, the brain-child of Fred Seibert, the man who helped launch MTV back in the 80s (back when it played music videos, back when it was cool). Now he’s helping to reinvent video on the web with well-produced pop-culture video packages. Ultra Kawaii is a weekly compendium of cute, Channel Frederator brings you the best in animation, while Barely Political is a dose of political satire 2.0. These networks, like all of our networks, allow you to watch video in a beautiful, continuous-play experience—no need to click another video, there’s another serving coming right up.
