Yahoo! Video Awards: Best Non-Fiction Video
Big movie awards shows honor documentaries, so why shouldn’t we? Of course these are not the documentaries you’re likely to catch at the cineplex or on public television; these videos bring bite-size chunks of real life that are perfectly entertaining in their own right. This year’s nominees all take real subjects and report on them in a variety of different ways. From animation to verite, from speech to song, illustrations to motion-graphics, you almost wouldn’t know you’re learning something.
View and vote below Voting is now over. Check out the results!
And come back tomorrow for a special Fringe Fridays edition of the Yahoo! Video Awards. We’ll be posting nominations for Best Animation and Best Indie Music Video.

“The Business of Death” is an amusing way of presenting factual information about the inevitable. I think it’s the best of the bunch.

Loved “The Business of Death”. I thought it was creative and engaging. It cleverly presented some grim facts in a charming way. It was hands down the best.

‘biz of death’ (and maybe marx) has best production value but those groups always get everboyd to vote, game over. biz is just presenting facts! who cares. at least some of the others say something and have story. i like the scuba dagger or grilled cheese one. at least they feel real and not just some office buying it off
