I voted for Brigitte Dale because she has what the French call “I don’t know what.” Well whatever it is, she’s got it. Except for a cold. If I had a cold, she would have the cure, because the cure is more Brigitte Dale. Or something like that. And it’s not because I’m a homer from Lincoln. Go BD!

I really wanted to vote for Brigitte because she is from my home town, but she talks too fast and pronounces words incorrectly.
So I had to vote for Phil. What can I say? I love art….and especially when it’s done in unconventional ways.

You are right, Mark: Brigitte has a strong overseas appeal and a big percentage of her votes, probably decisive for her victory, come from outside the US. But you looked at the wrong place on the map: these “wee hours” votes do not come from the Far East, but from here (that is from Europe and the Levant).

Sorry pd, I realized my mistake after the comment was already sent. As I said, it was the wee hours of the morning, and my brain wasn’t working on all cylinders. Thanks for the correction.
